Imperial keyway broach is used to cut in simplest and most economical way. It allows us to produce a short keyway broach that will fit under most any arbour press. The shim used on the second (or additional) pass simply compensates for the amount of material removed on the first pass and allows us to produce a short keyway broach that will fit under most any arbour press.
